Block Escape is a single-player sliding-block puzzle game that plays entirely offline. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal information. The game has no account system, no login, no analytics and no crash reporting. Everything you do in the game stays on your device.
The game makes exactly one network request: a once-a-day check for a newer version. It uploads nothing. That check is described in full under "Update checks" below, and the game is completely playable without it.
We collect no personal information. We do not ask for, and the game does not transmit, your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files, or location.
The game requests a single Android permission, INTERNET, used solely for the update check described below. It requests no runtime permissions — nothing that raises a permission prompt on your device — and no access to storage, location, contacts, camera or microphone.
The game saves your progress locally using Android's standard app-preferences storage, so you can continue where you left off. That data is:
This never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us, is not readable by us, and is permanently deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data through Android's Settings › Apps › Block Escape › Storage › Clear data.
Once a day, when you open the game, Block Escape downloads a small public file from our update server to see whether a newer version has been published:
https://app-update-server.kolivanraj1204y.workers.dev/Block-Escape/version.json
That file contains only release information — a version number, a short message, and a link to the Google Play listing. The request sends no personal information: no account, no email address, no advertising identifier, no device identifier, and nothing about your progress or how you play. Nothing is uploaded.
As with any request to any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, can observe the IP address the request came from together with ordinary connection details such as the timestamp and client type, and processes that under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use it to identify you, do not receive it in any per-user form, and do not combine it with anything else.
If your device is offline the check is skipped silently and retried the next time you open the game. It is never required: Block Escape is fully playable with no internet connection at all.
This same server hosts the copy of this policy shown inside the game. That copy is downloaded when the app is built, not while you use it, so opening the in-game privacy screen sends nothing.
The current version of Block Escape contains no advertising and includes no advertising SDK. No advertising identifier is read or transmitted.
If a future version introduces advertising, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the updated policy will describe what the advertising provider collects and how to exercise your choices about it.
The game contains no analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK. We receive no usage statistics, no device information, and no crash reports.
The update server described above is the only service the game contacts, and only for that check.
Please note that Google Play, as the distribution platform, collects its own data when you download, install, or update an app. That is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not by this one.
Block Escape is suitable for a general audience, including children. Because the game collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will act on it.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or erase on request.
You retain full control of the only data that exists — the local save on your device — which you can erase at any time by uninstalling the game or clearing its data as described above.
For completeness: were we to hold personal data, residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland would have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under the GDPR, and residents of California would have rights of access, deletion, correction and opt-out of sale or sharing under the CCPA/CPRA. We do not sell or share personal information, because we do not collect any.
The only data involved is stored locally on your device and is protected by Android's own application sandboxing, which prevents other apps from reading it. Our update server is served over HTTPS.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — most likely if a future version adds a feature that changes what data is involved. The "Last updated" date at the top of this document changes when we do. Material changes will be reflected both here and in the game's in-app privacy screen.
